Numbers do not change lives — people do. These are the stories of soldiers and families whose lives were changed by the support of this community, told so you can hear and understand exactly what your help makes possible.
Why we tell them
Hearing the story is what makes the giving real.
It is very important to us that there is a personal connection between a project and the person behind it. When a supporter hears directly from someone whose life was rebuilt, giving stops being abstract — it becomes the most significant thing in that person's life, and in yours.
